Assembly Technology & Workstations

We design and build custom assembly workstations that fit your people, your process and your space.

The right workstation does more than give your team somewhere to work. It shapes how efficiently they work, how safe they are and how consistent the output is. We design and build custom assembly workstations that fit your people, your process and your space.

From a single ergonomic bench to a full production line with kanban flow, conveyor integration and aluminium profile framing. We handle the whole thing, from design through to installation.

Designed Around Your People and Your Process

Every workstation we build is custom designed to your specifications. The right surface height, the right tool placement, the right material flow, so your team isn't reaching, bending or searching for what they need. When everything is within reach and in the right position, the job gets done faster and with fewer errors.

This is the foundation of good ergonomic design: not just comfort, but performance. Less fatigue means fewer mistakes. A well-designed workstation reduces the physical load on workers, which directly reduces injury rates, sick days and staff turnover. For manufacturers competing on quality and throughput, that matters.

Kanban and FIFO Systems: Keep the Right Parts at the Right Place

Kanban and FIFO (first-in, first-out) systems keep your production flow organized and visible. Materials arrive at the workstation in the right sequence, in the right quantity, at the right time. No hunting for parts. No overstocking at the bench. No risk of the wrong component being used at the wrong stage.

Our kanban systems are integrated directly into the workstation design, through flow racks, material shuttles, production trolleys and organised storage. The result is a leaner, more visual production environment where your team can focus on the job rather than managing materials.

FIFO systems ensure that stock rotates correctly and that no part sits idle or gets bypassed. In food manufacturing and medical device assembly especially, this isn't just about efficiency. It's a compliance requirement.

Ergonomics and Health & Safety

Poorly designed workstations are one of the most common causes of workplace injury in manufacturing. Repetitive strain, awkward postures and constant reaching all add up over a shift, a week, a year. Our workstations are designed from the start with ergonomics built in, not bolted on as an afterthought.

Standard ergonomic features include:

  • Adjustable-height surfaces to suit operators of different heights and seated or standing work
  • ESD-compatible (electrostatic discharge) construction for electronics environments
  • Swivel chairs with correct seat height relative to work surface
  • Cable ducting to eliminate trip hazards and keep the station tidy
  • Safety barricading where machinery or moving parts are present

A properly ergonomic workstation protects your people, keeps your H&S compliance straightforward and reduces the physical cost of production over time. It also tends to improve quality. People make fewer errors when they're not uncomfortable.

Aluminium Profile: Flexible, Strong and Reconfigurable

Our modular aluminium profile systems form the structural backbone of the workstations we build. Available in sizes from 20mm to 200mm with various slot widths and integrated air duct options, these systems are strong, lightweight and endlessly reconfigurable.

With retention forces up to 24,000 N and over 1,300 compatible accessories, you can build virtually any workstation, guard, frame or production fixture you need, and change it as your operation evolves. No welding, no permanent modification. Reconfigure by loosening a bolt.
