Internal Sales Engineer (added 20/09/2011)

Position: A self-motivated person to fill an Internal Sales Engineer position in our Christchurch branch. You will preferably have hydraulic experience; however applicants with engineering or electrical backgrounds have proved successful in our field. You will also have excellent interpersonal skills as you will be required to service existing and prospective clients. Your primary role will be customer counter sales. You will also provide backup to other departments such as stores/purchasing (product builds, picking/packing, stocking shelves). You will be working within a positive team environment and with experienced staff who will provide technical support to help you get started.

Some examples of hydraulic systems we have designed and worked on recently:

• Grape Harvester
• Bark Blower Truck
• Mussel Barge
• Forestry Processing Head
• Motorised Access Equipment
• Four wheel drive vehicle

There is no formal hydraulics training currently available from any independent provider, so Hyspecs conducts ongoing in-house training and all staff are asked to attend. Knowledge of the products and how to apply them is vital to the success of any person in this position. The informal training sessions are targeted at improving this knowledge of products and their application. We also encourage staff in taking external training courses that are complimentary to our work.

Your position will be full time, salary is negotiable dependant on experience and you will be eligible for the company bonus scheme.

Service Engineer Christchurch (added 20/09/2011)

Position: We are seeking a self-motivated person to fill a Service Engineer position in our Christchurch branch. You will preferably have hydraulic experience; however applicants with fitting and turning or mechanical engineering backgrounds have proved successful in our field. The position offers a wide variety of work on service and system installations, leaning towards access equipment service and repair, with some auto electrical back ground experience required. Some overtime hours may be required. You will be working within a positive team environment and with experienced staff who will provide technical support to help you get started.
